Kardashian, West prepare for celebrations; amfAR auction raises 38 million

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West left a Paris apartment on Friday (May 23) hours before their wedding celebrations are expected to take place. The couple were accompanied by their daughter North who was in a stroller and Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner. The rapper and TV personality are expected to travel to Florence on Saturday (May 24) to continue the wedding events.
The annual amfAR charity auction was held on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival. The celebrity packed event was hosted by Sharon Stone and highlighted by the sale of a space trip with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2015. That sold for nearly 1 million dollars. Also in attendance were the likes of Justin Bieber, Jessica Chastain and John Travolta. In all, the charity raised a record 38 million dollars.
