Dozens of Sikh protestors pushed past the front gate and entered the grounds of parliament, protesting against alleged desecration of their holy book, Dunya News reported on Friday.
The protestors claimed that multiple incidents of desecration of their holy book have taken place in different areas of Sindh province during last few week.
Sikh members demanded that they will not move from the parliament house until Prime Minister and Interior Minister give surety regarding arrest of the culprits.
Meanwhile, member of Natonal Assembly Dr. Darshan and Senator Zafar Ali Shah negotiated with the protestors and assured that that their demands would be addressed.
Later, Sikh community formed a 13-member committee to negotiate with the government and left the parliament premises peacefully.
