China was sending these five ships to pick up more of its nationals from Vietnam on Sunday.

Media reports say 3, 000 have already left the country after the eruption of a wave of anti-Chinese anger.

Attacks on Chinese workers and Chinese-owned businesses began last week in response to the positioning of an oil rig in waters both countries claim.

Official reports say two Chinese workers have been killed and 100 injured in unrest on Wednesday

A doctor and some witnesses say they've seen up to 21 bodies, most of them Chinese.

The violence has outraged China which is demanding action against those responsible and greater protection for its nationals.

Vietnam flooded its major cities with police on Sunday in a move to head off further trouble.

They quickly broke up this anti-Chinese rally in Hanoi where protesters urged the government to launch court action.
