Bangladesh ferry: 'No more survivors'

Search teams were trying to find those still missing on Friday after a Bangladeshi river ferry capsized and sank a day earlier.

There were 200 on board the M.V. Miraj-4.

At least 28 are known to have drowned.

The fate of dozens still unaccounted for is unclear.

But the district deputy commissioner's warning there is now no hope of finding more survivors.

Most of those on board were students and city workers heading home for the weekend.

Bangladesh has a history of such accidents.

Casualties sometimes run into the hundreds because of overcrowding and lack of enforcement of safety standards.
