Probable victory of NDA in Exit polls pushed market up - Tv9 Gujarati

Indian stocks hits a record high due to the expectations of winning of NDA in the national elections. Vikas Khemani, chief executive of brokerage Edelweiss Securities Ltd. says, “The market is rising on expectations that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form a government at the Centre, People are hoping that if they come to power, economic growth will be gradually brought on track. There is high foreign interest for Indian stocks on the back of this.”
