The game first hit the market in 1987, but the German programmers were accused of copyright infringement of the Nintendo game "Super Mario Brothers." "The Great Giana Sisters" was then taken off the market. Now the Giana Sisters Computer Game made by the Black Forest Games Company has been revamped. It's already sold one million copies and is nominated for two German Computer Award.
