Growing dangers for police in Pakistani city

Police in the Pakistani city of Karachi say they are ill equipped to deal with rising violent crime, with officers saying there is a shortage of protective gear. Nearly 50 police officers have been killed in 2014 alone and last year 166 died, four times higher than just five year ago. Officers say they lack essential equipment for patrols like bullet-proof jackets and helmets. Al Jazeera's Imran Khan reports from Karachi.
