The Cat Creature (1973)

In this teleplay by Robert Bloch, when a wealthy collector dies, some of his rare antiquities go missing, including both an ancient amulet and the Egyptian mummy that wore it. But as gruff cop Stuart Whitman and academic David Hedison try to determine what happened, people with a connection to the case start turning up dead--and the prime suspect is apparently of the feline persuasion. Genre familiar Gale Sondergaard is delightfully sinister as proprietor of an occult shop who, along with her charming assistant Meredith Baxter, become involved in the investigation. And watch for old reliable John Carradine to turn up too.
