IRON MAIDEN: VISIONS OF THE BEAST PART 5 OF 8

-METAL OBSERVER DISC 2 REVIEW-

Disc Two features more of the same live delights with "Fear Of The Dark", "Hallowed Be
Thy Name", "Futureal", "Out Of The Silent Planet" and "Brave New World" focusing on the MAIDEN live spectacular over the years. "Bring Your Daughter" is cheesy as is the song. "Virus" is awful as is the song. "The Angel And The Gambler" video is far better than the actual song could ever hope to be but the most interesting clips are for "Wasting Love", "From Here To Eternity" and "Lord Of The Flies" - clips that have rarely been shown in the UK at least.

"From Here To Eternity" is crass and outdated unlike the jokey "Holy Smoke" from disc one,
"Lord Of The Flies" is a rare glimpse of live Blaze intertwined with MAIDEN'S first gigs in Israel. "Wasting Love" is not to be taken seriously and you have got to be asking yourself
just what MAIDEN were up to with this one. "Be Quick Or Be Dead" is a high-octane chase around a ship yard! "Man On The Edge" is actually one of the better MAIDEN promo clips with a bit of time and effort put into it.

The extras are plentiful as is the intro to the disc were we have the audacity of interrupting
Eddie from watching his favourite band! There are six Camp Chaos video clips and if you are unfamiliar with them get the DVD just to check out what has been done to Eddie. The "Run To The Hills" re-working is worth the money alone.
