Kochadaiiyaan is Rajinikanth's movie and India's first 3D film with performance capturing technology. Written by KS Ravikumar and directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, the film stars Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the lead.
There was once an able king, and hence, happy and content citizens. But on a fateful day, one of the king's close friends plots against him and acquires his kingdom, while the king was driven away. The king gets a baby boy, who grows up to become a great warrior. He fights and redeems the kingdom that rightfully belongs to him.
To sum up - Superstar Rajinikanth's magnum opus is the story of three kings, played by Rajinikanth, Jackie Shroff and Nasser. Rajini will be seen in two roles, that of father and son. It is said that the film will capture a war between these three kings through various generations, and while the father Rajini fights with Jackie, the son will get into a tiff with Jackie Shroff's son Aadhi in the film. Sarathkumar plays Nasser's son in 'Kochadaiiyaan', and Deepika Padukone as Princess Vadhana will be seen romancing with Rana.
