Easter services in Moscow at Christ the Savior Cathedral.

The Russian Orthodox Patriarch leads the service marking one of Christianity's most important holidays -- celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his wife Svetlana join the service.

The Holy Fire from Jerusalem was delivered to Moscow late Saturday.

Once lit in Russia's main cathedral in Moscow, the Holy Fire is traditionally delivered to regional centers across Russia.

This year it is expected to be delivered for the first time to Crimea recently annexed by Russia from Ukraine.
