The design duo behind the Chicago-based label Creatures of the Wind, Shane Gabier and Chris Peters, looked to the construction of '60s-era haute couture pieces and pushed the idea of femininity and sweetness to exaggerated levels, resulting in a collection that was sweet but subversive.
