In the French papers - 'Ukraine, the escalation'

Escalating tension in Ukraine dominates the French front pages but not entirely. Le Parisien-Aujourd'hui-en-France looks at the mad cow crisis of two decades ago as a French court rules that it is not possible to apportion blame. Libération, meanwhile, leads: 'Take drugs in moderation'. It reports on drug use in the country and urges debate on guidelines so drug users can avoid harming themselves. And, of course, there is politics, with Hollande now at a record low 18 per cent approval rating.
