UK Teenage alcoholic narrowly escapes death

Phoebe Haffenden started drinking at age 15 and since then she had been suffering from a serious alcohol addiction in the past few years.
She was kicked out by her family. However this did not stop Phoebe from drinking, and her addiction got even worse.
She drank 18 hours a day and could drink up to six liters of apple cider. She slept with strangers and couldn't remember anything the next day. She also skipped school to spend more time in bars.
Last July, a doctor told Phoebe that one of her kidneys had been infected and she could die if she kept drinking. She decided to quit alcohol and undergo therapy.
After a few months, Phoebe is now fully recovered and living her new, healthy life.
