Caught on tape: SUV driver ignores rail crossing, gets a huge dose of reality

There's a reason why railroad crossing gates exist. But some people are too pressed for time to stop. However the train couldn't care less about how late you are for your appointment.

A lesson that the driver of this Houston area SUV sure is lucky to have learned without losing their life or the lives of his passengers-- one adult and two children.

Houston Metro Police cited the driver for running a red light.
