'The Army hasn’t done what they said they were going to do'

Jeffrey Arena was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. He deployed to Iraq in 2005-06 and 2007-08 and then to Afghanistan in 2010. According to a nationwide poll conducted by The Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation, 40 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans say the government is not doing a good job meeting their needs.
