Turkish government bans YouTube

YouTube is the latest social media website to be blocked in Turkey, following similar action against Twitter. The government cited national security concerns - saying the video-sharing website had been used to leak a sensitive discussion between Turkish officials, about the war in Syria. The Turkish Foreign Minister has told Al Jazeera that international companies must operate within the law.
