Pakistan and Taliban in face-to-face talks

Government negotiators in Pakistan have met with Taliban leaders in their first face-to-face talks since February.

The head of the Taliban peace committee said the first day of peace talks concluded positively, with promises of further talks

He said a one month ceasefire, due to end next week, would be extended.
