Black Sabbath - Snowblind

"Snowblind" is a song on the album Black Sabbath, Vol. 4 by the heavy metal band Black Sabbath in 1972. The song was written when all four members of the band were suffering from cocaine addiction. It is one of several songs by the band made about or related to drugs, along with "Fairies Wear Boots", "Sweet Leaf", "Hand of Doom", "Supernaut", and others. Volume 4, the album featuring the song, was originally intended to be named Snowblind, but was ultimately changed by the record company, possibly to avoid the cocaine reference. The song had to be redone several times as Ozzy Osbourne kept shouting 'COCAINE' after each verse.

Snowblind appears on Black Sabbath's albums Reunion, Past Lives, We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'n' Roll, and Symptom of the Universe: The Original Black Sabbath 1970-1978.
