Thug baby video: Is cursing toddler a future gang banger?

The Omaha Police Officers Association is being accused of racism after it posted a video of a foul-mouthed black toddler in a diaper swearing and making obscene gestures under the title "Heartbreaking Video Shows 'The Thug Cycle' Continuing."
In the video, the two-year-old utters obscenities including "You a ho, b----!" at adults and repeating "suck my d---" to a woman off camera who had said just that. A man jokingly curses at the boy and the boy repeats what he says.
Omaha police say they were alerted by a "loyal follower" who had seen the video on what they called a "local thug's" public Facebook page. The child in the video was taken into protective custody, along with three other children.
Then the Omaha Police Officers Association posted the video on its website, along with this text:
"We here at OmahaPOA.com viewed the video and we knew that despite the fact that it is sickening, heartbreaking footage, we have an obligation to share it to continue to educate the law abiding public about the terrible cycle of violence and thuggery that some young innocent children find themselves helplessly trapped in."
Black Men United in Omaha Executive Director Willie Hamilton told the Omaha World-Tribune that lots of people have called him to tell him the video further harmed relations between the black community and the police in Omaha.
"The police actually have a website that is perpetuating mistrust and anger, and I think that is what it is meant to do," Hamilton said. "I thought posting the video was crossing the line. To use that incident to say that our kids are going to grow up and be thugs is far-reaching and insensitive. We are talking about a child that hasn't even gone to school yet."
