Father slashes son, killing him, during fight with wife

A man from Zhejiang Province, China has been arrested after killing his 12-year-old son during a fight with the boy's mother.
The boy walked into fight after returning home from school one Monday afternoon. He tried to stop his parents from fighting, to no avail. After his mother retreated inside of a bedroom, the boy's father then turned to his son in a rage, slashing the child and severing his carotid artery.
About a half hour later, the man dragged his wife out of the room. Upon seeing her son bleeding on the floor, the mother called the police. But it was too late, when the police arrived the boy was already dead.
The boy's father was arrested that night.
