International divers and salvage experts are to join the  search for the missing Malaysian airliner.

So far there has been no sighting of the jet which disappeared enroute to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur, with 239 people onboard.

Two oil slicks have been spotted off the southern tip of Vietnam on Saturday.

The Vietnamese government says the slicks are between 10 and 15km in length but its not clear whether they are linked to the missing aircraft.

But an investigation is underway into why two people on the flight were travelling on stolen passports.

Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from Kuala Lumpur.
