While VBS does spend a lot of our time traveling to remote and dangerous parts of the globe where they would just as soon kill us as look at us, we are not planning on neglecting America. In fact, our own home base might be more foreign to us at this point than the jungles of the Congo or the depths of Bolivia. Do we really know what’s going on in Alabama? And when’s the last time we were in North Dakota? What pastimes are quintessentially American these days? What do Americans eat? What do they smell like?
