It's the final fashion show of the Fall 2014 runway season - and perhaps the most anticipated one.

This is the first ever Louis Vuitton collection by fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquiere who previously headed another French fashion house Balenciaga for 15 years.

His first mission at Louis Vuitton? Make it look effortless.

SOUNDBITE: Louis Vuitton Womenswear Creative Director, Nicolas Ghesquiere, saying (English)

"I approach Louis Vuitton like a wardrobe, I think it should be like really something effortless, some clothes that are really easy to grab."

Fittingly the designer showed variations of flirty mini dresses and belted trench coats.

They were often paired with the petite-malle, or small trunk, rumored to be the it-bag of the year.

Ghesquiere took over the reign from Marc Jacobs who left the world's number one luxury brand to focus on his eponymous label.
