To break World Records: Is it right way towards development?

Punjab government is feeling proud on providing an opportunity in form of Punjab youth sports festival to show their skills and abilities. A number of records were made and broke in this festival.

Are these world records putting any share for the sustainable development of nation or country? Senior journalist, Javed Chaudhry, in his show presented an analysis of Pakistan with Taiwan. Taiwan became 17th largest economic power by gaining expertise in the production of microchip.

On the other hand, leaders in Pakistan are taking nation towards such goals which are not sutainable in terms of development.
