HOW TO MAKE A HAMSTER BIN CAGE
***READ PLEASE BEFORE COMMENTING!***
Bins are great cages for hamster's because they are cheap, easy to make, easy to clean and big! Bin cages are perfectly safe to have a hamster in. Bin cages are pretty much the same as tanks, only cheaper, and they can be attached together to provide more space.
Bins can be purchased at places like: Ikea, home depot, WalMart, or Target.
Always remember the minimum floorspace of a cage is 360 SQ inches and the minimum bin cage size is a 105 QT bin. or you could connect two 55 QT bins together.
Wire/Mesh can be purchased at your local hardware store, such as places like Home depot, Home Hardware or Lowes.
Instead of putting mesh you can just leave the lid off or drill tons of holes for ventilation.
For cutting the holes in the bins you can use:
A heated exacto knife or box cutter, A Dremel, or a jigsaw.
