Robin Thicke and Paula Patton split: Black people rejoice

Overrated singer Robin Thicke and smoking hot actress Paula Patton are calling it quits after nine years of marriage.
The childhood sweethearts told People Magazine in a joint statement on Monday saying, "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."
It's been a rough week for Robin. He's scheduled to perform at Boston University on March 4, but there's a petition now circulating around the school to ban him from coming. Almost 2,000 students have signed the petition started by Humanists of Boston University, saying that Thicke is a misogynist whose "Blurred Lines" hit single "celebrates having sex with women against their will" and are asking that Thicke's performance be canceled.
And now his wifey is dumping him. The divorce seems to be coming on the heels of several reports suggesting that Thicke was flirting with other women behind Patton's back.
One of the more notable ones was at last year's VMAs after party when Robin took a photo with professional partygoer Lana Scolaro. The only problem with the photo was that a mirror behind the two shows Robin grabbing a little too much of the bootie.
There were also the photos that were taken last January at the Club 79 nightclub in Paris showing Thicke get really up close and personal with a hot, mystery French woman.
African-Americans however are celebrating the news as they will now look to reclaim Paula Patton for black people. Somewhere, Real Husbands of Hollywood's Kevin Hart is really excited.
