1984 Riots Movie | Soha Ali Khan & Vir Das As Sikh Couple

The topic of the 1984 riots is soon going to be the subject of a film starring Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan.
After playing a sardar in Santa-Banta, the standup-comic-turned-actor is once again going to play the role a sikh. He would be seen romancing with actress Soha Ali Khan in the film, who is playing the role of his wife.
Based on the 1984 riots, following the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassination by her bodyguards, the movie is being helmed by National Award-winner Shivaji Patil. According to Soha it's a very powerful story about the riots and what happened in the 24 hours post the assassination.
Seems like an interesting subject for the moviegoers and exciting project for the actors!
