Multiple car bombs hit Baghdad

A deadly day in Baghdad.

Four bombs go off in the Iraqi capital, killing at least 13 people.

As smoke billowed from one of the sites, firefighters sifted through the wreckage after dousing the flames.

The attacks took place near the heavily fortified "Green Zone," home to the prime minister's office and Western embassies.

Two parked car bombs were detonated near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, putting security there on high alert.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Sunni Islamist militants have been regaining ground in the country.
