ENCORE! - 'American Hustle': Scamming their way to the Oscars

"American Hustle" has got Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, not to mention some incredible 70s hair and a cracking soundtrack. As the film opens in France, Catherine Nicholson and Iris Brey ask whether that all deserves to add up to Oscar glory for the film. We also hear from Christian Bale on why he enjoyed working with writer-director David O. Russell.
Also on the show: the film adaptation of Markus Zusak’s bestselling novel "The Book Thief" has hit the big screen. We find out more about the relatively unknown teenage lead actress Sophie Nélisse, who hails from Québec, while Australian Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush tells France 24 why he thinks so many of his fellow Aussies are finding success in Hollywood.

We also check out another literary adaptation, with Luc Besson’s first venture into animation as producer of "The Boy With the Cuckoo Clock Heart".
Finally, we pay homage to the late Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, with a look back at some of his best-loved roles.
