Al-Qaeda cuts ties with ISIL rebels in Syria

Hundreds of people have been killed in the Syrian province of Aleppo, in a third day of bombardment by government forces.
They're attacking areas of the city that have been held by rebels. One of those rebel groups is the Islamic State of Levant and Iraq.
The group had claimed it was linked to Al Qaeda, but in a statement on Monday, Al Qaeda has rejected any connection.
