1. A local court on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, rejected actor Salman Khan's plea to club two cases against him that were lodged under the Arms Act and the Wildlife Act, and directed him to continue recording his statement in connection with the first case.
2. Earlier we heard that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might comeback in Mani Ratnam's next directorial venture. Now if reports are to be believed, then Shruti Haasan too will be joining the team, where she will be paired alongside Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in the film.
3. The Salman Khan-starrer Jai Ho collected Rs.5.80 crore at the box office on Wednesday. With this, the total collection of the movie in the domestic market touched Rs.83.28 crore. It is estimated that the movie will at least make Rs.100 crore in this week itself.
