Philippines launches offensive against splinter rebel group

The Philippine military has launched a major offensive against a splinter rebel group in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. They are targeting the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, which opposes the peace deal between the government and the main rebel group Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
