ICJ to rule on Chilean-Peruvian dispute

The Pope has weighed in on the Chilean-Peruvian maritime dispute just hours before the International Court of Justice is due to hands down a ruling. Pope Francis says he prays both nations will arrive at an understandings, a veiled reference to the historic tensions between the two South American nations. At stake are 38, 000 square kilometers of rich fishing waters that Peru lost to Chile after the War of the Pacific at the tie of the 19th century. Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports from Arica.
