Canterbury Cathedral in southeastern England is the spiritual centre for millions of Anglican Christians all over the world.

Its 900-year history includes such momentous events as England's split from the Roman Catholic church.

On Saturday there will be a new landmark as the cathedral's first all-girls choir makes their debut.

Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Canterbury, UK.
