Behind the Bangkok Shutdown

The Bangkok Shutdown began on January 13 and has gained traction over the past 10 days. Some have portrayed the protests as violent, but Jean-Pierre Chhang decided he needed to see it for himself. The scenes Chhang filmed do not depict people yearning for a fight, but rather shows them having meals together, dancing in the streets and protesting peacefully.
