For his first solo flight, the youngest of Le Trio Joubran has chosen to collaborate with three musicians hailing from a variety of cultural backgrounds, the Indo-French tabla player, Prabhu Edouard, the French cellist, Valentin Moussou, and special guest, Jorge Pardo, the Spanish saxophonist and flautist.
Borders Behind, which reveals Adnan Joubran as a talented composer, embraces the world. Radiating both tenderness and strength, suffused with the heady perfumes of jazz, all spun together by the intricate touch of Joubran’s oud, it is as if we were listening to the soundtrack to our imaginations.

Pour son envol en solo, le benjamin du Trio Joubran a réuni autour de lui trois partenaires venus de cultures différentes, le joueur de tabla indien Prabhu Edouard, le violoncelliste français Valentin Moussou et en invité spécial le souffleur espagnol Jorge Pardo au saxophone et à la flûte.
"Border's Behind", qui révèle les talents de compositeur d'Adnan Joubran, est une œuvre ouverte sur le monde. Enrobés dans les volutes de son oud, on y hume des parfums de jazz et des climats à la fois délicats et puissants, comme la bande-son d'un film imaginaire.
