Dozens injured in Bangkok blast

Protests heated up in Bangkok Friday after an explosive device injured a group of of anti-government demonstrators.
Police said the device was thrown into a group of passing demonstrators who then broke into an abandoned building where they claim the suspect or suspects were hiding.
None of the injuries were life-threatening.
And late Thursday night, a bomb was thrown at the house of Bangkok's governor.
Both incidents underscore several days of relatively peaceful demonstrations in which protesters, who want Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to step down, have blocked roads brought government offices to a standstill.
Supporters of the anti-government Democrat Party want Yingluck replaced by an appointed council and have rejected snap elections called for February.
Yingluck told reporters Friday she will not step down and that she still enjoys overwhelming popular support.
