"VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration has been enabled, but is not operational. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot.
Please ensure that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V properly in the BIOS of your host computer."

Here is what to look for in the virtual machine log "VERR_SVM_IN_USE" to see if you are experiencing the same issue.
I was running the machine on a Asus board with Phenom II X6
Note that this will only work if you actually have a 64bit processor in your machine, if your machine does not have a 64 bit OS or 64 bit cpu, this will not help.
