Stars shine at the BAFTA Tea Party

STORY: The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) celebrated the 2014 awards season with their annual BAFTA Tea Party on Saturday (January 11), the day before the Golden Globes. Many of those at the tea party nominated for BAFTA awards were also up for Golden Globes on Sunday (January 12). Sandra Bullock, nominated for a BAFTA and Golden Globe best actress award for her role in "Gravity" gave all the credit to the people in England who worked on the film. Cate Blanchett, who is nominated for a BAFTA and Golden Globe award for her role in "Blue Jasmine," said awards were just "icing on the cake." Other nominees and guests on the red carpet included Tom Hanks, Martin Scorsese, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Steve McQueen and Bruce Dern. BAFTA will give out their own film awards in London on February 16.
