Martino: "Messi gives us confidence, makes us grow and we feel safer"

Sant Joan Despí (Spain), 7 Jan (EFE).- Barcelona manager Gerardo 'Tata' Martino stated Tuesday that the return of Leo Messi has given the first team "confidence" and makes them "grow" as a unit as all the players feel "much safer" with the football star's presence.



Messi's return to the match squad almost two months after he was injured in the game against Betis monopolised the coach's press conference on the eve of the first leg of the Blaugranas' Copa del Rey tie against Getafe.
