STORY: After a star-studded opening night, the reviews for Britney Spears' new show in Las Vegas sing nothing but praise for the 32-year-old pop icon.
The reviews focused not only on Spears herself, but also on the intricate sets and costumes, which many reviewers noted for their elaborate 'razzle-dazzle.'
The show "Britney: Piece of Me" features pounding dance tracks. including many of the star's greatest hits, along with exciting visuals.
"It's different than anything they've seen visual to the eye. It's very intriguing to the eye. And, the show has a lot of dynamics: there's snow, there's water, there's magic. It's just a lot of fun. It's like a huge celebration," Spears said on opening night.
She agreed to headline the show at Planet Hollywood's AXIS Theater for the next two years, with the possibility of extending the contract if the show proves to be a success.
