Approximately 4000 widows arrived at Prem Mandir, Vrindavan, on 30th April, 2013 for the free distribution organised by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat - Shyama Shyam Dham.
Widows gathered outside Prem Mandir from early morning for the distribution program which commenced at 5am. Each of the guests were welcomed personally by our devotees, and those who required assistance, wheelchairs were provided for them at the campus grounds.
As the weather gets warmer in India, many suffer from dehydration. Realising this problem, JKP distributed a big jug, a glass, a big packet of Glucose and a mosquito net to every widow who came to the distribution. Snacks were also provided to the widows during the event.
The smiles on their faces were a true indication of their appreciation for the items of necessity that they received. The widows left Prem Mandir thanking Shri Maharaj Ji and JKP for the regular distribution programs held by JKP - Shyama Shyam Dham.
