Veal seperation from his mother

(English subtitles) A cow, like every female mammal, only produces milk after giving birth. After calving, the calf is taken from her/his mother. The males will be used in the meat industry, the females in the milk industry. The separation of calf and mother is a traumatic experience for the nursing calf, and also for the mother, who voices her distress with cries and mooing for days after the newborn is taken from her.
