Dozens of whales stranded on shore in Florida Everglades

Around forty whales have been beached in the Everglades National Park in southwest Florida.

Four have died, with wildlife workers managing to get another six back into deeper water. A further thirty are stranded in shallow water.

Rangers are trying to keep them wet and stable until the tide rises and they can go back to sea.

The animals are thought to be short-finned pilot whales.
