Billy Joel takes up residency at Madison Square Garden - Hollywood.TV

Starting in January Billy Joel will play one show a month at Madison Square Garden for "as long as the audience demands," the star said. The Garden simultaneously announced that Joel will be their first ever musical franchise. Joel already holds the record for the most shows sold in a sustained run with 12 at the Garden back in 2006. The four dates that were announced have already sold out. This announcement turns Billy Joel into Madison Square Garden's fourth pillar, along with the Knicks, the Rangers and the Liberty.
