Biden visits China, main agenda is air defence zone

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden sits down for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, where the main agenda for Biden is China's air defence zone.

Beijing's declaration of the air defence zone over an area that includes disputed islands has triggered protests from the U.S., Japan and South Korea.

Earlier in the day, Biden told China's vice president Li Yuanchao the U.S. and China must widen cooperation on a practical level, and deliver results.
