Thieves Steal Running Shoes After Meeting Through Facebook

According to police in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, a male victim was recently robbed by two men who were after his tennis shoes.

It’s not always the big ticket items that make thieves stoop to very low levels.

According to police in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, a male victim was recently robbed by two men who were after his tennis shoes.

The unidentified male reportedly met one of the suspects on Facebook and prearranged the sale of the sneakers. The victim agreed to meet one male on a Wednesday afternoon, at about 3:30 but got quite a surprise when two males approached him.

The seller was punched in the face while the other culprit grabbed the shoes. The victim attempted to chase after the young males but he abruptly stopped when one produced a pistol.

Investigators started off the search by obtaining information from facebook to identity the suspects. The cops focused their attention to a residence located on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

Officers were sent to the house and found two males who fit the description.The victim later confirmed cops had the right guys. The suspects, identified as Zachary Nicholas Lynch and Keith Davis, aged 18 and 16, were both arrested and charged with armed robbery.
