Ferry accident in Hong Kong injures dozens

STORY: A high-speed ferry travelling from Hong to Macau hit an unidentified object early on Friday (November 29), injuring 85 people.
Six were seriously hurt.
Hong Kong's marine department said that the 105 passengers and 10 crew on board were all accounted for.
The ferry crashed about 15 minutes into the journey, at around 1:20 am (1720GMT). It was sailing at a normal speed of 30 to 40 nautical miles, a spokesman for Shun Tak ferry company said.
The boat managed to sail back to Hong Kong after the accident, which occurred near one of Hong Kong's small outlying islands, Hei Ling Chau.
The accident is bound to further question the safety record of one of the world's busiest ports.
In October last year, two ferries collided, killing 39 people in Hong Kong's worst maritime disaster in more than 40 years.
