Thousands march to oust Yingluck

Weeks long demonstrations continue in and around the Thai capital Bangkok Wednesday as thousands of demonstrators rally against the Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her administration.

In Bangkok, groups of demonstrators gathered in front of several ministries including the ministries of labour, energy, health and in front of local government offices in 19 other provinces.

The anti-government demonstrations started last month after Yingluck's administration tried to pass an amnesty bill that critics said was designed to absolve her brother Thaksin of a 2008 graft conviction.

Thaksin is currently believed to be living in exile in this gated community called "Springs" in Dubai.
